the squirrels are back

i had not seen any of our squirrels since we got back from our last trip almost three weeks ago - they've been coming to the garden for years .... well really since we started putting out more food for them & the birds, they know which side their peanuts are buttered .... i love watching them from my bed and sometimes we put up new feeders or move them around to warch how they respond - it helps pass some of those hours i have to spend resting

anyway, i've been missing them and wondered if they had given up on us due to not getting any food for so long - so i was delighted on sunday when one of them turned up again and they have been showing up regularly, coming up to the window at the old signal for easy food

it's good to have them back brightening up my day again
