fiddling about

making slow progress with work for 'patterns' - i've got a hand stitch piece on the go but progress is slow and i am easily distracted (so what's new?)

i've mad a little progress on the development of my memory piece for daddy - inspired by a talk by frances pickering at the guild i've started a book for recording my ideas and trying things out - i enjoyed colouring the paper for pages and assembling them into 'signatures' - i've also started sifting through my collection of his bits to find things to include

also inspired by frances pickering, i'm putting together some small notebooks for gifts

..... and of course i need to tidy up again as i haven't a square inch of free work surface - back to square one!
