party time

been down to eastbourne for mum's 80th birthday party - at last she allowed us to organise a party for her, it took some doing to stop her from doing it herself but she finally relented - i had to let her provide the fizz but was left to do the food as long as it included a croquembouche:

it tasted even better than good as it looked and it mad mum sooooo happy! - she could hardly wait to see it and was like an excited child, it was lovely to have been able to do that for her

we couldn't have done it without sue, our honorary sister, and her family (to whom mum is granny franglais)
