more boro style clothing

the point of the indigo dyeing session a couple of weeks back was to have some thread to stitch this:

i've had the jacket for a while and just never felt it was right, so it became a cloth weaving project - it is quite addictive and i suspect i will add more to it as it ages - it has become something of a memory piece as i've included fragments of silk from my mother, father, gramie, zelle and patricia as well as bit's of a pair of mick's worn out shorts and favourite clothes of mine

i've really enjoyed stitching this and now wear it with a smug glow of satisfaction
