garden surprise - update 1

another look today revealed more than on chick - it looked like at least three beaks among the fluffy haze of young feathers
a bit of googling  and i've found out that our little friends are probably around 5-10 days old - they are too well feathered to be newly hatched

i'll try and leave them alone for a couple of days now
