as a wedding anniversary celebration we had afternoon tea at waddesdon

first the savoury treats

 then the sweet part

every crumb was delicious

then it was time for a visual feast on the way home

there was sad news at the end of the day, the death of victoria wood was announced - just the thought of her makes me smile - i hope she is forever numbered among the classic british talents of comedy and drama
