plate techtonics

i can't believe how quickly i finished this

i thought stitching the break in metallic thread would take ages - i find metallics tricky, probably need some tuition  in goldworks to master some of the skills

but it was all done in no time - so now i need to mount it

i wonder if it needs some smears of chocolate icing and cake crumbs as a final touch?
