my day in photos
having a go at the shorter AYWMC challenge, 1 Day 12 Pics - didn't quite get to 12 though
it's supposed to be a photo every hour, but having a short day makes that a bit tricky for me - sometime i just don't want to take a photo of the stuff around me - i know i could easily slip in pics from a different day but that's not the point......for me
so it starts in bed - i like the way the specs lenses and bottle distort the view through them - i also like how it doesn't show just how dusty everything is!
while i am coming round i spend quite a long time with a view of the wardrobe, which has curtains instead of doors
then i get a view from the bathroom window through my doily curtain - a shot which illustrates my problem with lighting and selective focus
then it's off for a little outing - an actual walk! aiming for that mile and a half round the Heartwood Forest - not a real action shot though, i had to pause, mid step, to snap this without blurring
following the blue arrows on the posts - a deceptive shot as the woodland on the left is ancient - most of the Heartwood was only planted this century and has only reached about 6ft high
another shot illustrating my problem with light - but i'm fairly happy with the cropping
much needed refreshment - post shot cropping again to make a simple shot a bit more interesting and focussed on the important elements!
it was a relief to get the trainers off - inadequate heel protection resulted in a blister, my fault for not wearing socks
this time before the food - i don't usually go for symmetry
that's it for domestic duties for the day
a look at what i picked up on our walk - the colour is wrong - the carpet is more green and everything looks a bit washed out
back to the sedentary activities - feet up on the footstool, aadorned with a sample of what i get up to in this position - carpet colour a bit better but still all a bit washed out
all pics were taken in natural light with auto settings - editing has been mainly cropping and a little straightening after download
