some progress shots - details from the two i boned

mick thinks the turquoise and tan one (top 2 shots) has a look of the seaside, in landscape orientation i think he's right but i've been looking at it in portrait mostly - maybe i'll work some broken shells into it


























i'm thinking about some suspended twisty buttonhole strands for this one, but haven't found the right thing for a base - i'm considering some lace as a contrast to the squareness
