i think i've solved the problem of how to carry on brewing dyes when we stop using the wood burning stove for the summer: an outdoor wood burning stove


this is the prototype, a rocket stove, built following on-line instructions in under 1/2 an hour and ready to cook on within minutes of lighting

it had a big pot of water boiling much faster than our indoor one and is very economical on fuel, it burns really well on quite small sticks and stuff, so i won't make too big a dent on the woodpile - and i can cook on it too!
