autumn already - again

my goodness, it's been a while since i posted - struggles with the new tablet have slowed me down, along with the feeling that i haven't been doing much





actually there's been a lot of musing and mulling going on, along with a little play - i decided it was time to develop my use of a sketchbook, i've been rather half-hearted at it but i'm making a little progress

these are the first pages i did in a little notebook i bought at "art in the pen" in skipton - the pages are already stained with tea and stitched across, so no worries about messing it up!!






i'm still working on my leek memory stick, but i am adding another strip of cloth from our yorkshire trip last month, dyed with leaves and petals gathered on the caravan site, with more plant material attached

and i've been stitching on and around leaves, but more about that another time
