colourful days

just spent 3 days immersed in eco-colourness with Fabienne Dorsman-Rey at Art Van Go - all part of the From The Earth events this month

lots to absorb about the use of mordants, pH modifiers, enhancers and stuff + i want to explore the use of the mark making technique fabienne shared with us - some really interesting work to be done once i get myself settled down again

meanwhile, bundles were made

 opened and admired

i have some unopened - patience is not my strong point but it will be worth waiting a couple of days for them to develop and dry a bit 

i am very happy with what i have opened already and look forward to finding ways to use them - adding stitch to embellish or highlight, cutting some up to be incorporated into composite works .... all sorts of possibilities

as always, the group and tutor were a delight to spend time with - but i'm exhausted now and will return soon with more pics and stuff
