book wrap?

needing a new ongoing piece to stitch i've decided on a wrap cloth for M100 - i picked out a cloth-weave from a few years ago, decided on an eco-dyed patchwork as the backing, added a layer of flanelette as a base and off i go

the cloth weave uses a fine white man's hanky, indigo dyed cloth and bark dyed sheeting and shirt pieces

i am rediscovering the pleasure of doodle-stitching - the limited palette of the base allows for plenty of colour experiments and the simple blocks of the weave seem to encourage me to embellish and play

so far so good
