another home - almost.....

looking at this as i worked i started to remember a piece which has been lurking in the back of my mind for some years ..... the embroiderers' guild house i saw at Gawthorpe

i know the quality of work in this piece is way beyond what i will ever achieve, but i remember being drawn by the  way it spoke of affection for the house
