i also used a smaller pice of cloth to cover it during the steaming, this gave a mirror image which i will use for something else

afterwards i also dyed 2 hanks of silk thread, one with madder, the second is variegated with madder, turmeric (for a golden yellow) a woad seed - the woad seed did not take very well and gave spots of murky grey/blue
