stretching my comfort zone: silk organza appliqué - 3

inspired by some dried leaves i was putting away, i decided to try a mixture of real and organza autumnal flora

i had picked up the holey one with stitch in mind so it was a perfect opportunity

not sure if i want to add a few veins to the gauze leaf ... i'll park it for a bit while i decide, but this is something i want to experiment with more and develop - but i will need to soften some leaves with glycerine solution first and experiment with whether or not that causes staining on the fabric
