a different stretch - silk organza appliqué 3

inspired by the work of Sara Cook and Suzy Ager i tried some different effects

the main veins on the gingko and sycamore leaves are pintucks - i feel i should have used a finer thread and tinier stitches

I wanted to experiment with softer edges  so the third leaf has been frayed, as well as using angled stitched - i like this and plan to take that further
