a bit stuck on patterns

the christmas cards are more or less done & dusted now so it's back to holey moley .... or is it?
somehow patterns hasn't really grabbed me yet, i love the stuff that's being posted by other members but i'm not getting stuck in - i think i may need to go off piste for a while - i did do a rather nice manipulation of some shoe sole rubbings, i think the colours are a bit "ken done"



i have an urge to do some printing on paper &/or fabric - i've made quite a few blocks during the year so i think i'll clear the decks and get some paints & dyes out and make a big mess
..... well, another big mess, first i have to clear up .... courage mon brave,brace yourself and all that ... it will be worth it!
