Stroud International Textile Festival

there's also been lots of exhibits dotted around the town and some instalations i haven't found - the open studios was small but interesting in the contrast of styles it presented
there's been lots of talls and workshops but i couldn't really sign up for any, i don't think i would have had the energy to do those as well as visiting the exhibitions which were my main priority
i hope the festival manages to run again next year, funding is a problem now - but i don't think mick will want to come for another three weeks, cycling choices are limited by the severn estuary, although he might consider it if i found a site further inland ........ mmmmm more research to do
