preparing to dye

i've been meaning to get on with some dyeing ...... as usual my good intentions have not been acted on, but i have been preparing avocado dyes - i have some pots of avocado stones and skins on the go, extracting orange shades - the colour from the stones looks like orangeade

i also sorted the eucalyptus cuttings i got from howard - i now have 2 bags of dried leaves; one small one of leaves for prints and the other for dye extraction + a bundle of twigs which i will divide into broken up pieces for dye extraction and interesting shapes for prints - there is still a lingering scent of eucalyptus around .... mmmmmm
