i needed a coat hook so i knocked one up to go over the top of a door, actually i made two - then i thought it might be fun to cover them with fabric -
i used some strips of metal from a dismantled wine-rack, got the man to cut them to size and all fabrics are reclaimed - i'm sure you'd find something suitable if you scavenge around
