i am always impressed by people who commit to a year-long creative project or challenge as i am short on staying power - but this year i might have a go in a small way, in the hope that it will exercise my perseverance muscles
i got an origami-a-day calendar for christmas, yes it sounds a bit nerdy but i am delighted, i used to do a bit of origami as a child and can still turn out a decent flower or two - so this year's creative challenge will be to fold whatever comes up every day - it will be too much to expect that i manage to take pictures and blog them daily, but i will try and post them all - no promises though
so here is day 1 on the first day of the bright and shiny new year:
