apres Le Tour

i couldn't resist making a little "homage" to Le Tour with some of the leftovers on site
i'm especially fond of the little bits of bunting



and of course it's also a weave, of sorts

on thursday in Leeds we came across a medieval congress with lots of stalls about aspects of medieval life: a spinner and dyer, a broderer, an armourer....but i really fell in love with this kestrel

i had been feeling rather down that day but the privilege of getting so close to this beautiful little creature really cheered me





i hate photos of me but the kestrel is the real star here
