the much-beloved drove me up to lincolnshire yesterday for an exhibition - it was a 2 hour drive each way, so i feel especially grateful since there wasn't much for him to do there

Narrative Threads by Ruth Singer was excellent - subtle and delicate use of simple stitches, various image forms, found and treasured objects on reclaimed textiles - absolutely my cup of tea
