taking down the christmas decorations is usually confirmation that the festive season is over and that normal life is resuming ....... not this year!
i've started the year with a thump, falling off a chair with a handful of fairy lights - result : a broken left arm and wrenched knee which is in a hideous but practical splint
so no stitching for a little while - but while checking my email i found a wonderful and timely invitation from textile artist to sign up for some training videos on developing creativity - i've been saying i need to take a slightly more structured approach for ages, so now that i have a period when i can't actually make much i can take a step back and pay attention to how and why
so every cloud isn't necessarily full of rain - and even if it is this garden needs watering in a different way for a while
