change of format

somehow the first wreaths seemed bulky and messy - so i tried a slightly different approach

i sorted the remaining fabrics into warm and cool colours  + black & white

instead of one long chain i made five

and plaited them so that they can hang straight or be looped into a wreath




the different fabric scraps are more distinguishable and the whole structure is more pleasing to me




also i enjoyed the plaiting process, it gave me another opportunity to consider the different fabrics, their sources and how they relate to one another

now i'm going to deconstruct the ones i've assembled and do them this way
