AYME - lesson 3

shutter speed, a much more straightforward lesson - finding out how to alter the settings on my camera was the really important part -

luckily this is one of the only aspects of camera use that i managed to grasp in the past, but the extra bit now is that with a fast shutter speed, as well as capturing less motion/blur & thus a clearer subject, you also get less light in, so a darker shot overall in lower light conditions

i was amazed that i could capture bouncy squirrel, on a windy day, looking so still!


i don't often take shots of moving things, but i can see that this will be very helpful in reducing the effects of my shaky hands

now i'm having ambitious thoughts about fireworks
