a couple more i took yesterday while the sun was still shining

this one gives me a real sense of spinning on the spot, like a happy child - i tried it on auto (f8) and got a slight blur, then went to f2.8 and this is what i got - i love it!

i hate photos of myself so this is the closest i will get to a self portrait  - took a few shot to get a good sharp outline as the sun was in and out of light cloud



i took quite a few different shots in this spot, but the strong light and shade where more than i can handle effectively at this stage - a tripod would have been helpful
