another home begins

this year's EG project is "Home" and i decided to join in for a change - i've also got a small group at the branch to join in, but that's another story, maybe for another time

as i've already done a piece on my old home i thought i would try a different one from my childhood, so i picked the home of our friends up the road because i always envied their verandah

as usual the first steps are the trickiest and i struggled with how to do it - but inspiration came after a visit to aneighbouring EG branch for a talk by Richard McVetis - the windows
have started to take shape

and it already looks more like a home
